The Team Noah Foundation Last Miner Riding is a bit of a different format of mountain biking format. At 9:00am (the top of the hour) everyone starts the 8 mile course (5 mile for Juniors). Everyone is allotted 1 hour to complete the mountain bike loop. Thus, for example if you finish in 45 minutes you rest and recover until the the top of the next hour at 10:00 am and you start the 8 mile loop again. You must be at the start line at the top of the hour or you are out of the competition. This continues until the Last Miner Riding remains. It isn’t about how fast you can ride each lap, it’s about how many laps you want to ride. Just a fun day in the woods with a bunch of friends! We will have a top male and top female prize, but that’s about it. No multiple categories or age groups to worry about, just fun on the bikes.

This is a free event with no frills. The goal of the Team Noah Foundation is to help bring an increased awareness to congenital heart defect (CHD). We are a group of cycling enthusiasts and racers who are using our connections with the cycling community as a way to benefit children and families in need through the FootPrints Program at Cardinal Glennon Children’s Hospital..
We will be accepting donations instead of a paid registration, so any and all donations are appreciated. Throw in a flat donation or go collect from friends and family based on how many laps you think you can get (think of the bike-a-thons we all did as kids). All proceeds go towards helping Team Noah Foundation support families in need. Donations can be made any anytime leading up to or after the race though the Team Noah Foundation website @ http://teamnoahfoundation.com/
Bring your own special nutrition and hydration needs (although we may be able to find some tater tots to snack on). As an FYI, St Joe State Park does also have a campground available should you be interested in making a weekend of it. You can find more details about that on their website. https://mostateparks.com/campgrounds/st-joe-state-park
